Thanks DWayne! I'll end up going over the gardens again. Have fun using the disc set before the rain comes again.

Well I did hook up the disc this morning and got some plowing done, but it was ugly. Still way too wet. I've got to build some rear disc scrapers eventually to keep the wet packed dirt from building up. I had better luck working on my nephew's 73 hood today.

I could see that being useful! Maybe you'll get a dry patch in here soon so you can get back to playing. The hood looks goot too!

I'm liking that new stack!

I removed the 4 corner bolts in the cab of my 1872 and replaced them with 1/4" eye bolts. Now instead using ratchet straps through the doors with my engine hoist. I can make a cross of light chain and lift it on and off of the tractor with the engine hoist. Should be a lot less hassle. Going to have to remove it soon as I'll probably have to mow next week for the 1st time.

The eye bolts will be left in place.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
