Im looking to get a box blade and/or a front blade for my 1810. Does anyone have any ideas how one can be aquired or built for my particular tractor? Ive been keeping an eye on the "For Sale" section of the site but dont seem to be having any luck.
Ive know that I do not have a hydro set up to raise the box blade in the rear..How in the world to do adjust the height? (Newbie question I know.) Most of the front blades I have seen are operated from a lever..does the box blade operate in a similar fashion? Thanks again for the help guys..Im hoping to have pictures of the 1810 up by friday. Going to take some pictures of it as is and then some after I get it good and cleaned up! |

You will need a rear sleeve hitch adapter. About all you can do is place a wanted ad and or call our sponsors at the top of the page. You will have to have a spring assist to help in raising those two implements more easily. You can check out xtrememotorsports.com for a rear blade. It isn't a box but is really nice and built solid.

I tried the website that was listed above and it would not connect..almost as if the site wasnt running anymore. How difficult are they to operate with the spring assist?
Im contantly moving loose gravel around and a blade on either end would be awesome. Weve been using a small Deere tractor with a blade on the front..It works ok but is getting to the point where it isnt reliable anymore. |

The spring assist attaches to your lift rock shaft and the rear of the frame. It has a bolt that connects to the spring and you either increase tension or decrease tension allowing you manually lift implements much easier.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
