New cub owner on the lakeshore in Wisconsin
I am the new owner of a 2072 SGT. I was looking for a true garden tractor for my 7 acre property instead of a big box store lawn tractor. The research lead me to the cub cadets. My favorite is the 982 SGT, but they are rare. I saw the 2072 for sale in the local craigslist and it sounded like fair deal. After some further research on the 2072 I found out it is very close to the 982 and I had to have it. It has the 60" commercial mower deck, cat 0 three point and pto. I love the hydro and power steering. With that and the 60" deck mowing lawn is a pleasure, as my last lawn tractor had neither. Love the web site and will frequently visit. I will try and post some pics of the new 2072 SGT.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
