Default Tire delima
I picked up a 1615 and fixing it up for a yard tractor only. No deck.

Someone replaced the original front rims with 8 inch gt rims and 16. 650 x 8 tires

Should I. Leave them alone? Or....replace with original size 6 inch rims. 15. X6 tires? Which I have. The bigger tires look "ok" but I like original stuff.

Are the rear tires the standard size ? If it was my mower & I was going to use it,,, as long as it cut the grass neatly, I would leave those on there. Once the tires get worn, you can change it back to original . Or, if it " bugs " you that it is not original, get the right size, & sell/trade those.

Back tires are 8 inch rims also so I thought 8 inch up front would look odd.

If it's just a yard tractor, It would look better like that. (IMO) If you put a deck under it,and start mowing with it. Then I might consider the swap back to 6" front rims & tires.
