The deail work is great on it. I like the canvas they used, very authentic.
Hope everyone enjoyed there Christmas, its back to reality soon with the holidays coming to an end. We were even lucky to get a white Christmas! Might even have to break out a Cub to blow some snow!??

What's the difference DieselDan? My brother bought it for me and the one he gave me came direct from IH Dealer and he said it was half the price of the one at TSC? He said he was glade he got the one at the dealer. Is there much differences between the two? More of less detail? He was saying the selection at our local dealer was great. Its been a few months since I had been in there, I am sure they stocked up for Christmas shopping season.

Im glad you asked Mike!

My IH dealer is more of a Kubota dealer since the smaller tractors sell better in my part of town and dont stock any of their shelves with farm toys.

TSC offered this one last year at their stores and i havnt seen any this year. The only difference on the tractor is the windbreaker/ heater houser, otherwise its the same as your with 3pt hitch, wind shield, and Precision series rear wheels. On the front of the box there is the "old" TSC logo and the right side of the box shows the TSC Ad picture for windbreaker on the Farmall 706. Also just out of curiosity i was able peak under the windbreaker and see the detailed diesel engine as well. Sorry for the fuzzy pic quality as my lens for my camera phone is scratched.

Thanks for the info! Good to know! Your canvas looks to be a little browner in colour than mine. Either way, its a neat little 706!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
