Default Advice for 16hp

Hey all, I'm having some trouble keeping my 16hp from running smooth when i throttle it up. It will sit and idle just fine. It is practically brand new minus a few pulls I entered. I used this motor last year for the pulls, Drained the fuel -then sat for 10 months. I have an old fuel pump on it which was used, which makes me think it may need a new diaphragm. The last idea I have is the crank.
When I put the motor in the tractor and fired it I noticed the driver was off kilter, then worked its way inline with the crank. Would this have cracked the crank? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Default 16hp

Hello, Check your grounds and try another condensor. Try a gravity fed fuel tank. I have no idea on your off kiltr, maybe a pilot bushing wore out? Mike

well I may go the fuel pump route since I don't know any history of the one that on it. I checked my clutch driver to make sure it was in line w/ the crank -and it was so that's ruled out.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
