Default cheap bush cutter
The other day at the thrift store ,they had a lot of battery powered hedge clippers and of course the batterys are shot , & no charger , for $3 I bought it and wired a cord I had ,added a house hold outlet to the back of my current LT MTD . I like it ,it trims my yews and shrubs will cut 1/4 inch branch ok I planted alot of red cedars to screen my land and want to trim them .

Probably mount it to the 128 next

homemade battery install too, and that guy at the parts store said it couldn't be done.

You could improve your design by adding a cheap retractable power cord like they use on shop lights, that would be easier than having to worry about the cord getting snagged on stuff. Also, why not just use a cigar light plug and socket, would look a lot neater than the household outlet and plug (of course that would eliminate the "redneck engineering" that went into your project...LOL)!!!!
