Default Converted Craftsmen snowthrower
I always wanted a snowthrower for my cub but didn't want to drop a lot of money. I found a guy in town selling this craftsmen model and got it for fifty bucks. I fabricated a frame rail that bolts to my existing frame for a little added support and for my holes for quick attaching the underbody unit of the thrower to my tractor. After setting up my own tensioner, i made a quick weight system out of cinder blocks and ran it all last winter. Worked perfect. Now i am currently dismantling it and painting it cub cadet White.

Nice work. I'd suggest that you may want to load the tires and get some wheel weights for it to take some of the load off the axle. Happy snow blowing. Sorry but I don't miss snow.

Thanks man. I didn't even think about loading the tires. I was concerned about the weight on these weak axles.

Great job, just be careful cuz those rears aren't the strongest.
