Just tell them when they call that the motor has a bad knocking noise and it burns about 2 quarts of oil each time you mow with it.

That's a good buy you have on it. I had to search all of PA to find it. I paid too much for mine. It had 4 flat tires, busted up plastic, rusted paint, pto bearing was shot and it didn't run....but I just had to have it. I would buy yours if you were closer.

My strategy was to not put my phone number in the add and ignore emails.

Unfortunately she checked my email "for me" and asked if I was going to call the 10 people back that emailed about it

Looks like she's really going to make me sell it.

I got the parts back for the 2072 and started priming them and getting them ready for paint.

While I was out painting, my 4 year old came by riding his little J.D. bike and I said we should repaint that bike to match the cub cadet while I had the paint out. He said maybe I can get new paint for the CC to match his bike

He's a mommas boy. She protested getting the 2182 and wants me to sell it "cause we don't have room for another one" Yet someone offered to trade me a restored 67 JD 212h for the 2182 and she thought it was a great idea.

It's gonna take some time to get the 2 of them on the right page.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
