Farmall C
Hello gentelmen
Was at a guys house to look at three C's he has. Could someone tell me about the C. One had a FC as the model and one had a 110 emblem on the front, is a 110 a C ?? Also had a international scout 80 that will come home with me one day, very neat little truck. One more question and ill leave ya alone, lol. Would it cost a small fortune to rebuild a locked up 6 cylinder deisel in a 656, fell in love with this big old tractor. Anyway all and any info on the Cs is welcome Tha,ks Jason

Jason,
Wow, looking at a C and a Scout!!! How much land do you have? Anyway, according to the Big Book of Farmall Tractors: Farmall C Produced 1948-1951 (almost 80,000 delivered) 113 cubic inch engine running at 1650 rpm 4 cylinder with 19.91 max belt hp 2,902 max drawbar pull pounds 11.24 horsepower hours per gallon. Good luck with the tractor if you decide to get it. Jason |

All I have is 2 1/2 acres. It will be a long ways off before I buy any of them, new job, but he says they aren't goin no where.I'd love the scout 80. Does the book say anything about a C with a number insignia of 110, I was just wondering why this one has a 110 on it, never seen it.its a plackard, raised #s, not painted on. He has a 656 also, big old tractor. Thanks man Jason

Jason,
I'd love to have a scout or an old IH pick-up truck...saw a pick-up really close to me a few months back, but it needed lots of TLC (read MONEY). My wife would have killed me! As for the C with the 110 on it...I have no idea. The book doesn't say anything about a Farmall 110. There was a Farmall C, Super C (came along in 1951) and a Farmall 200 (replaced the Super C in 1954). There was also a Farmall 100 which replaced the Farmall A. I'd be interested in seeing a picture of the Farmall C with the 110 numbers on it. did they look like numbers that someone might just have put there on their own? Jason |

I googled Farmall 110 and international 110, came up with zip, except there was a 110 International pickup truck......
Also 110 was a mower model number. there were C's and super C's, A's. etc... When I get home I'll check my tractor books and see if I can locate a 110.

Hey 67hydro.
I might have found somthing here. Did a search for International fc tractor and came up with this from tractordata.com The Farmall Super FC is the French-built version of the Super C. It came in three versions, the gas FC-C, the diesel FC-D, and the distillate FC-E. Don't know if this is any help or not If you go to tractordata.com its under Farmall Super FC. |

Just search Farmall Super FC. I am starting to find some info now.
Farmall Super FC-C The FC is made in France hence the "F" prefix and is similar in most respects to the American made "C". However not all parts are interchangeable as the Americans use Imperial measurement and the French use Metric!! The other options in the range are the FC-D (Diesel powered) and FC-E-Distillate. |

Thanks sir, I did the same and googled the 110, came up with the same results as you. Even googled McCormic farmall, International farmall and all combos !!! Jason The emblem looked factory, would of been on the nose/front of the tractor. Couldn't tell ya if It was on both sides! It was chrome, kinda like the farmall logo on the side of the "hood" had to have the pins/dowels on back that go through the Sheet metal and the press on "washers". Applied to hold it on. It was raised numbering.by the looks of it it must of been added by someone, ill get some pics but it might be awhile. Diz Thanks a lot for the info.It would be funny if a french made farmall made its way all the way to the US, even funnier if it made it to a small, small farming cmmunity in the stinkin desert, lol. 98% of the tractors this guy has come from a very small community called Hinkly, here in california.Ever see the movie called erin brockavich, based on a true story, she is a lawyer that took on a big gas company in hinkly,pg&e, they were dumpin chromium 6 ladden water into ponds from there cioling towers. The chromium 6 destroyed the ground water there, gave people canser, and other illnesses, she won a multi million dollar law suit for familys in hinkly. Long story short pg&e bought out a ton of farms, small farms, plowed them under installed hundereds of monitering wells where they will test and watch the "ploom" of chromium 6 The guy who has all these tractors, probably 40 plus bought themn cheap in hinkly!! How in the world did I get here with that story.....google hinkly California Thanks a lot guys, ill try to get some pics Jason

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
