Default Another cub

Can anyone tell me if the following model number is an 1811 or 1812. Mod: 147-660-100 ser: 756804. The decals are missing on the hood and I have not seen it in person yet. I told the guy I would take it since it will be a deal nobody can refuse. I will post pics as soon as I see the machine.

Thanks Cub123, when I was searching in partsmart it said 1811 and 1812 as it covers both. Does anyone know what the difference is between the two is? Just curious.

This is the only difference between these models, the 1810 had manual lift.
1810: hydrostatic
1811: hydro with hydraulic lift
1812: hydro with lift and remotes

Default No pics or tractor yet...

Quick update, the seller's younger brother had a heart attack and heart surgery on tuesday, then his older brother died thursday night from a heart attack. May be awhile before I get any pics. Should still get the cub as the seller is one of my good friends.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
