pulling
I pull in a 11 hp down and then bump up to a 14 hp down class, so I like to stay with my K-241 10 hp that is all stock. But still trying to get what I can out of a 10 hp motor

you should get (depending on whos dyno ) 18 to 20 hp with a gov on it and no porting done. but they do get time consuming when tthey come to building

If your Still looking for a motor I would go with a kohler CH11 it's a single cylinder OHV motor. They pull plenty good. Also the big block Clones or 11HP Honda is also good for stock classes. I pull with the Honda motors myself.

stock puller
Well going to build it myself again, the last one lastest 7 years, so found a place in Memphis, Tn. to bore it out, it is .030 now k241, bore, hot tank and paint bare block $40, looks great, started putting it back together, changed out valve guides, going to be pure stock for a 10hp k 241, but putting the 18 hp cam in, carb that has had a little work done to it, under cut valves and will put my LP head back on, it was strong before I had it bored out, cycle wall was getting egg shape and only smoking when it was sitting idling, but did not smoke when it was going down the track, as far as it looked. So it was time to refresh.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
