We got 6 to 8 inches of wet snow in Wisconsin. Then the storm headed east and caused a lot of problems. The new 23hp Command I put in last year never came close to bogging down. A big improvement over the 90 compression ratio Magnum I had in there last year.
One surprise is how well the tires worked without chains. I meant to put them on originally but now I doubt I will. These tires also worked great cutting grass on my hilly lot. They are from a JD utility vehicle. |

Picked up a 782 from Indiana today. Thanks Gary, it is awesome. I haven't even turned the key yet since home had to fix my messed up trailer wiring. I had to post a pick of this chili burger from the Iron Skillet off of I74. Talk about heart burn!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
