Would a creeper gear from a hydro fit on a 67 102 gear box ? Never seen one but a guy has one for sale

Sure hope he already replaced the muffler bearings as they always go bad,
and they are a pain to change as well as near impossible to locate.

Not a dumb question. A creeper drive is an auxiliary drive to slow down a gear drive transmission to give more speed options.

A hydrostatic transmission has infinite speed control and thus no need for a creeper drive.

Actually I had a late 70's Jacobsen GT 14 hydro with a creeper drive and I use a Ventrac at work with a high / low option with it's hydro. Never really looked to see how it worked but they both dramatically reduced ground speed. I bet that's what the guy has, never saw one on a cub though.

I didn't think it was a dumb question either. The JD 400 series have a high and low transmission also.
