Keith, never seen one like that before. It's way cool! Looks like it's upside down but it's not.

You gotta add the fertilizer attachment!!

Not mine!!

I would bet if you compared the plates to the Earthway planter plates, you would know what they each plant.

I got one of them!!

That looks exactly like the plow my neighbor gave me. He had all sorts of old tractor parts. I'll take a look at my plow tomorrow to see if I can find a manufacturer and maybe we can connect some dots.

I'm 99.9% positive that it's a Sears and I would bet that it was made by David Bradly.

I believe it it is a planter for a David Bradly walk behind. I have one for my Sears suburban, and also a push type. They made the planters also to be adapted to other make of homestead tractors . Most are missing the seed hopper lid so if you ever find one with the hopper lid, you have a rare find. These planters are very good. One can change the single action to plant seed at different spacing, unlike a Plantet Jr or Cole.

Thumbs up Nice planter

Hey Guys;
Yer planter looks a lot like a Bolens unit I picked up at Cuborama last year.
I have not had time to do anything with it, except spray it down with PB Blaster and stick in the back of my shop.

I would love to figure out what kind of plates it takes as I didn't get any with it.

I love Cub Cadets, and I love to have stuff ta pull with em'.

CadetFarmer over and out.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
