oil drain pipe
here is a custom part i found off the m72's k161. will be painted.

I've thought about something similar for my 109. They are a PITA to drain now.

Really? You just put a pan under the engine and drain it...doesn't get much simpler.
If you want to see a PITA oil change, get a 2000 series. You've gotta remove a side panel, put this plastic hose on, route it to a pan, and then open the quick-drain and hope it doesn't leak. The plastic pipe is a weird size, so after the original owner loses it (and some guy like me buys the tractor), the pipe is gone and nothing fits it properly, so oil goes everwhere...BTDT |

Well, on mine the deck and subframe for the deck are in the way. A plate on the subframe makes it so you have to use a tiny wee catch pan on top of it and hold it in place.
That's aside from the fact reaching the drain bolt is a pain too.

I think the idea is, you're supposed to take the deck and subframe off so you don't have that problem, and then you can clean/grease the deck while you wait for the oil to drain. That's what I do...

That's good Matt. I grease the deck annually. I don't have that much to mow. In winter I use a snowblade with my own design attachement , and the subframe stays on the tractor all year. Other wise the only need to remove that subframe is to change the oil. that would be a PITA too.
A little extension coming out the side would make it faster, easier and neater no matter how you look at it. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.
