Default Belt size for new deck

I'm considering buying this deck to put on my 127 while I finish restoring my original 42" deck. This one looks different from my original deck and I'm wondering if it will use the same drive mule drive belt or would I need a new size. Anyone know what the specs are for this deck? Also, it looks like I'll need to swap the left "spring pin" from my old deck and the right hanger loop looks a bit cattywampus.

Your mule drive should work fine. And I think the belt is the same, too. You can straighten out the spring pin. I've bent and straightened mine before. A big crescent wrench helps.

What deck do you have on your 127 now?

Right now I think I have a 42" deck but my blades are different from the ones pictured above. My deck blades are approx 15" center blade and, maybe, 12" outer blades. The one pictures has a much longer center blade and 2 mini outer blades. Any idea what model deck is pictured above?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
