Default New (to me) Bass Boat!!

Check out my new boat guys. So excited, can't wait to get her out on the water. Been sitting a couple of years, so a little tune up and clean are in order. Less than 100 hours. 1993 model.

Congrats on the boat.

Before you do anything to the boat, repack the wheel bearings and change seals if needed. verify all the lights work.

Change the oil in the lower unit and pull the prop off. Grease the shaft and put the prop back on. Make sure you keep a spare prop, prop wrench and all the hardware on the splined shaft in a small tool box on the boat. Ig you smack something and ruin the prop, you want to make sure it'll come off somewhat easily. All th eextra hardware is to insure if something happens, you can still be unde rpower to get back.

Take the USCG course. Not only do you learn the rules of the water, it can get you a discount on insurance ( State Farm gives me 10% off my premium for passing the course )

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
