Those rims probably won't work with the 122 fenders either, because your rims have more backspacing than stock Cub Cadet rims. The 122 fenders measure 15-3/8 between the fenders if you use the original seat tower/mount ( the part that the fenders bolt to).In the pictures,it looks like you probably don't have that much. You may have to get some Cub Cadet 8.5 x 12 rims in order to use stock Cub Cadet fenders.
I don't think 26" tall tires will fit under the 122 fenders without raising them up an inch or two.

Ok I think I got it. I'm going to cud 4.25" from the center of the 126 fenders, then weld them back. That will make it 10 1/8 " and fit the model 70 frame perfect. Then Ill just reenforce with 1/8" flat steel for the mounting holes. This should make it fit both height and easily take 26" tires. Or SO I HOPE LoL.
Well I say Me but what I relay mean is My friend Trent, He is a master fabricator, so if anyone can make this work he can. Wish me luck. I will post some pix as we go. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
