That would be the correct female coupler but I don't think gates cuts a snap ring groove in them like you need for most mower applications.

I had the same problem, went to case ih dealer and ordered ones used on the 1400/1600 series "reel speed" hydraulic circuit. I think i had to pay something like 26.00 a piece!

I may have gave incorrect information on this.... The gates couplers do fit nice in the couplers I bought used on eBay that were off of a john deere 300 series. Turns out they were pioneer brand couplers. I tried the male Gates end in my 1650 front outlets and they are too big to fit!!! Grrrr.

So if you need these stick to Rolland's suggestions mine didn't work out.

I know, I went to our CARQUEST and picked up the Gates, and they wouldn't fit, so I ordered Pioneer ones online and got er' done.

The pioneer ones fit? Best i can tell the Parker ones referenced by Rolland are the only ones that would work?

The Gates fittings are just a copy of the pioneer style and are too big so i figured the pioneer ends would also be. if you have a part number off the ones that did fit would be helpful.
