putting 10 hp carb on a 7 , it should run, but I'd think it would have a pretty bad dead spot when accelerating or coming under load because of the large venturi which would create a weak vacuum signal .

LOL now the next test is mounting the snow blower on her and see what that does. But I need to get some traction tires 1st. those old vintage stock turf tires just don't cut it in the snow. lol I was backing into the garage to get a running start in 3rd gear and just hitting it.

Glad you got the old girl running. I think others here would agree, a set of chains and some weight in the rear would do wonders. I think your turf tires with chains would do it. Have fun. Chris

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
