Bored waitin' on snow!
While I'm sitting here in cold Wisconsin, I decided to take the old sending unit I had downstairs, and some gauges I got for free, and figured why not...now the old lady won't run out of gas mowing like she always did in the MTD. I didn't have the tractor running when I took the pics, in case anyone notices why it only says 12v..I also put in a new covered toggle switch for the shot PTO one that was in it, and I have 3 mower decks in my basement (the original 44a that i got with my 1250, a newer yellow 44c with rebuild able spindles, and a 50a) that I'm going to try and make one really nice one out of for summer...

That's a good idea. What is the sending unit for? Depending on price I'd like to do this to my 1000

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
