Default Practice rear lift fabrication

As I'm new to this I'm still not sure what to call what I built! 3pt? sleeve hitch?
First I had to make some kind of scraper for the tire humps in my driveway so I welded the scrap 4" angle to 2 pcs of 2" angle pivoting from one of the sets of 1/2" holes in the frame. I then set 4 hollow cinder blocks on it and drug it around, it actually helped quite a bit on the humps, I just tied it up when I blew snow.
But not being able to go up and down just ate at me, so...
3/4" rod with 1" brass bushings in the top 1" holes in the frame, slid a 1" sq tube over it (who said it had to be round?) then welded the 6 tabs out of 1/4"x1 1/2" bar stock. Had a pc of 2"x3/8" stock so ran that up thru the frame to the inside lift tab on the rock shaft, had to do a little fab work there to space the bar far enough to the right to clear the fan. I wasn't planning on it but for now I'm using chains for lift bars, this accomplishes another objective, I just chain the whole thing up while blowing and the slop in the chains allow the blower to go up and down with out affecting the rear lift. Mounted another short length of chain on the front bracket that has the gear box mounted below it of the blower so it can be hooked in the up position, simple disconnect of the lift bar at the lever and bingo I can operate the rear lift without the blower going up or down. Next will be to get a couple of solid cinder blocks for weight, hope I will be able to lift them as this still isn't a hydraulic lift 682. This was a quickie using all scrap only money out was the $7 for the brass bushings. I can see advantages to mounting thick plates to the sides to hang all this off of and will definitely be looking to move in that direction and get a real plow but this just might work for this season till I can work on it when it's not 12 degrees in my barn, too cheap to burn the fuel to heat it!
Suggestions? Thanks, Vic

nice fab. work.

you can always find a cheap snow plow and use it for your rear blade. just have to make up a mounting system. when you got a welder and some fab. skills anything is possible.

Actually Georg I saved some pics of your build from an earlier thread and studied them before and while I did this one. Yours would be the goal, as stated this one is kind of a practice version, using all scrap on hand.
I think my chain hook up to the lower bars is too far aft, don't have much range with the lift so need to drill some new holes closer to the point of lift. I'm sure there are some physics involved so guess I'll just have to learn...
Thanks all!
Vic
Also will get some pics of the "finished" product as soon as the temp goes over 0*, maybe this weekend.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
