Gave it up a few years back, sorta miss it but?
Had 2 or 3 hive's for over 12 years. Got tired of sinking $$ every year & always gave my honey away during the holidays to family & friends. Then there was the moochers! Then one day after 3 years of bees dying i got fed up cleaned up my equipment & donated everything to a County 4-H group If you want to insure pollination for your garden & such look into solitary bee's, they do a good job. NIK,

Allergic to bee venom, so no beekeeping here.
But I do LOVE honey.

And I saw many a honey bee . last year mostly only micro sized bees and bumble bees and good weather not a hard freeze after the bloom but hardly any fruit. so thinking it would help .

One can conjure up about 5 houses (nesting modules) in about an hour. GOOGLE-& You Tube-----> solitary bees------- eg:-------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI2Z6-EtX9k a wealth of information, I made 3 nice sized one's 3 years ago. Alot of activity in them. Cant take a photo cause they are all back at my tree line & that means I'd have to trudge thru 3 & 4 feet of snow. That aint gonna happen Nik,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
