If it were for using in the garden,pushing snow probably a wheelhorse and for mowing I'd take a grasshopper.

I agree Sam, it would suck but I think I would go with the simplicity, or the gravely gang, as friends and family has owned these and were (almost) as good as our cubs.

I cut the yard, snow plowed with a 60's era Craftsmen suburban for 15 yrs and i still have it , so it maybe .

J.D.300,I currently have one with a 4 way blade fully refurbed and I really like it.Its a well built machine that cuts great and that 16hp kohler never fails to start.Wouldn't mind having a 318 or a 430 also,but I would never give up my cubs for a J.D. though.Im just a cub cadet person and that will never change.

I'd have to go with Bolens. I had a Bolens 1054 with a front blade and it was a pushing machine. I liked the hi low option and hydraulic lift.
