Cool site glad I've found it .
Up here in Excelsior Springs / Richmond area for you kc folks ..
Well I've had a 100 for years now ( 19 ) mainly been in the barn .Have used a 800 I bought for 85 10 years ago. With very little repair. I figured it was time to start using a garden tractor ( 100 ) again . Was looking on craigs list and found a 122 & 126 . And found this site from there . Started up the old 100 yesterday and charging is not working and clutch belt will not stay on at mower deck . . So maybe that is why I put it up .may just need to swap reg and new belt . Used the 100 mainly for pulling a 4 wheel cart on roofs loaded with up to 2k of material . Now lots of questions . And greeting from Dr mac |

I was just was out checking on what the lever was on the tunnel of the 122. After looking at ebay it appears one of the cubs purchased last sunday has a creeper and a hitch . The hitch appears to work off the lever for raising the deck . ??
Both 122 & 126 have started . Will have to figure out which one to use for mowing and other uses . Would be nice to have plow and disc and etc.. Later for that . Have to post some pics one day this week Dr mac |

Cool! Another Missouri guy!
Randy, he said PLOW... we might just get a MO Plow day going yet. D Newell, how much ground have you got? That 126 will look nice just after getting a good degreasing and a bath. Welcome! Keith

Welcome to the site. I'm also from Missouri, but the wrong side of it from the rest of you Mo guys. That 122 is a keeper, with the creeper gear and hitch. The creeper, though, has more value for resell than functionality, but the hitch! Nice.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
