K161/k160
I have a problem. I need to order a k161 rebuild kit, problem starts with my k161 that is actually a k160 with a 2 7/8 bore and all I can find is a 2 15/16 kit. I was told you can bore it out to 2 15/16. is this true, have any of you guys run in to this problem?

Your a little off on your engine numbers. You have a K141. That is the 7hp with the 2.875 bore. Yes, the only kit that is offered as a replacement is the 2.938 piston. Yes, it can be bored to that. Good news is, it will be a brand new engine, no matter how bad it is already worn.
