Michigan transplant
Hello there! I'm Jason and I've been a lurker on here for a little bit and finally decided to join the site.
A little about me; I was born and raised in north Idaho and moved to Michigan in 2011 for my job. When I moved I was in the market for a good garden tractor, I was fairly certain it would be a green one too. Cub Cadets aren't that popular in the northwest so I hadn't even considered one. Well a friend, who has a 2518, got me interested in Cubs. I picked up a red IH 782 in 2012 and loved it. I recently sold it to a gentleman who was looking for a retirement toy, but I replaced it with a 1872. It had a blown motor so I've decided to do an awesome repower; Kohler Command 28hp EFI! I'll be sure to make a build thread. Thanks all for your help, past, present, and future.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
