1872 losing power
the 1872 has recently been acting up. it will run great for about an hour and then its starts losing power when it gets a load. (hills, tall grass) ill have to choke it out to keep it running. ill stop for a minute let it idle and then its ok for another few minutes. it seems to be ok on flat ground. what i have done so far is check the plugs (good shape) checked fuel flow (good) new fuel filter. my next guess would be the carb float might be sticking? what do you guys think?

I think you are on the right track, sounds like a carb problem.

sounds like it might also be getting hot... wich would make sense that you have to choke it could be boiling fuel in carb just my
