2166 Blown Engine....Questions
I am trying to gather info for my dad who does not have a computer but does have a 2002 2166 with 521 hours on it. The engine blew a couple weeks ago and he was told by one place it would be $1600 to fix it and $800 by a different place. His question is whether or not it would be cost effective to have the engine fixed or just sell the whole thing for parts? What is the going rate these days for a 2002 2166 without a blown engine? Thank you very much for any input you care to share.

2166's go for around $4-600.00 in running condition around here. Nice looking 2166 with a trailer $600.00 used engine $100.00
