Yeah, the center spindle threads are rusty and worn, but they looked good enough to use still. I put it back together and mowed the lawn without any problem.

It it tightens down good , I wouldn't worry about it then. Sounds like it's ok then to me just check it . I will tell you I have a 38C on my 1211 I like it better than my 44A.
