Your side panels may be repairable, post some pics and I'll render my non professional opinion.

The hood and Cowell are in good condition will need the light cover, but i plan on putting a 3500 lumen LED light bar behind it rather than the regular lights.

OK the left side can probably be saved, the right side I'd look to replace.

I did 2" stuff on my 2182 but Sunpro has a sweet little 1-1/2" set that works better and that's what I did on my 1782 plus it was under $30 compared to about $100.00 for the setup I did on the 2182.

Almost finished with the super. Just need to adjust the brakes and the hydro. Just got her going to use it as a cart puller till this winter then she will get an overhaul. Put new fluids, filters, plugs, lubed it all up and did a few adjustments. She runs great love that 3 cylinder purrs like a big cat.
I know it's not a cub but picked up my other new toy 1973 Simplicity 717 neat little lol little tractor.

Installed the new rear braces on the 2182 did a little fine tuning. All back together for the time being. I ordered new seals and gaskets for the rear end. + a few other items. Not planning on using it this winter. Want to redo the deck over the winter and a little restro on the cub.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
