Default Will a 109 hitch work on a 1250?

Just picked up a 109, mainly because it had a complete 1A tiller setup. I have a 1250 project, with hyudraulic lift, but no rear hitch stuff on it at all, just the holes in the frame where the Frankenstein bolts go. The 109 hitch has a pin that attaches it,not special bolts.. From a quick glance at it after the 200 mile trip home tonight, it looks like the same cast part, but if anyone knows for sure I would appreciate it. I would really like to swap all tht tiller stuff over to the 1250 and just keep the 109 as a mowing tractor.

Best part was it came with a rust free 44a deck. I will need to rob an idler pulley assembly off my rotted deck but it will definitely be a keeper.

should be the same. i took the rear lift off my 169 and put on my 1650

Did you use the frankenstein bolts or the 169's long pin ?and did the lift bar that goes forward to the rockshaft work as well?

The use of a Pivot Pin or the Stud Bolts (aka: Frankenstein bolts) is determine by the rear portion of the Frame on the Q/L models. If the frame has a "collar: welded to the inside of the frame, then you use the Pivot Pin. If no collars are there, then use the Stud Bolt. The change over point was done on the Q/L Series. I took a complete lift assembly and tiller gearbox off of a 149 and put it on my 1650. Ever thing worked just fine and I made my own Frankenstien bolts at work.
