18 Hp Magnum rebuild kit
Looking for a complete master rebuild kit for an 18 Hp Kohler Magnum from a 1810 Cub. I was looking around and really can't seem to find a complete kit for a reasonable price, so maybe you guys would know where to get one? Thanks!

There is no such thing as a master kit for that motor. There is also no such thing as a "reasonably" priced kit. The KT/Mags are the most expensive motor to rebuild as far as Kohlers go. I do not recommend rebuilding them as you can buy a new CH for a few hundred dollars more than you will have in doing a good rebuild on your Mag. Pats Small Engines is the best source I've found for both parts, and new motors. Have your credit card ready...... LOL!

Well, is there a place where I can get each individual part from? I need pistons with rods and rings along with a new gasket set. I also would like to rebuild the carburetor and the ignition system. Thanks!

Yes..... I listed it above. Pats Small Engines is the best place that I have found. Otherwise, there is also a place on e-bay that sells parts. baktforkids I think is the sellers name.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
