Default Another great experience with Patton Acres.

The other day, I ordered the wrong part from Patton Acres. When it came in (fast shipping, as usual) I realized it wasn't what I wanted. I called Rich and, since I am local, he offered to trade me the right one...for no extra cost, even though it was my fault. He even remembered my name and address, and knew I had a QL from the parts I had been buying. If you are on the fence as to where to shop for old garden tractor parts, I highly endorse clicking the Patton Acres link at the top of the page. Great guy, quality parts, fast shipping and reasonable prices. Thanks Rich, nice to meet you.

Thumbs up

At the beginning of the week I ordered a couple of gaskets from Patton Acres. This was my first time ordering from them. They were decently priced, and unlike everywhere else, shipping was free, so I didn't have to pay double the price. The gaskets shipped the same night although I ordered late in the evening. So to sum it all up, great prices, free shipping , quick processing, why can't all businesses be like this? Just wanted to share the great experience, Patton Acres will be the first place I check when I need parts from now on.

I too am a satisfied customer. Rich sent me a NOS mule drive a few years back, top notch service! No hold ups at Canada Customs either, Rich knows what he is doing. Fortunate to have him as a sponsor.

Hats off to you Sir.

I need some stuff,so I am gonna give them a try. The local CASE/IH dealer seemed disgusted that I had the nerve to ask about parts, I was only trying to buy local.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
