Default Any non OEM replacement for front wheels? - 1250

My 1250 I bought has newer wheels on the front that don't have bearings. Has anyone used a non-OEM wheel on a cub? If so, what?

The ID is larger than the shaft and I considered using brass bushings to make up the difference. With a thrust bearing on the inside and grease I am hoping this will suffice. Any thoughts or past experience? If I could get some OEM wheels I wouldn't have this problem.

Put a want ad in the classifieds. I'm sure a bunch of people have extra wheels.

What size spindles does it have? 1 inch or 3/4 inch? That will also be something you need to specify..

I now have some 3/4" shaft wheels from Patton Acres. What is the bearing replacement for a IH 384881-R94 in SKF,Timken, or Peer?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
