Mountain Heritage,
Beautiful landscaping. All I could think of though was the time it has to take to keep it maintained like that. But it is beautiful.

Default ...time...

Yes, you are correct it does take A LOT of time to keep it looking like this! The wife complains that some day's she wishes she was grass, she would like the time spent together. Almost 2 acres of lawn...takes me 3hrs just to mow the grass with my 42" mower, then another 3/4 hr or so to do the weed wacking around trees and stuff. Time spent in garden....heck, have no idea how much time spent there. Since I sit a desk all day, I have a fair bit of energy when I get home....supper waits until closer to 9:00pm when I have run outta steam. I hate it when the days start to get shorter and dread the days it is dark at 4:30pm - makes working in yard and working with fire wood harder in the dark.

Have a hard time convincing the family to help out in the yard....they don't have the patience that I do!

Nice yard Mountian Heritage,
Im an oddball,I absolutly love to work in the yard,They say womens thoughts are like bubbles one after another one building on another, mens thoughts are like boxes, neatly stacked, catagorized,We also have a Emty box,This is where we go so we dont have to think about nothing!!!
I love spending time in my emty box out in the garden, doing yard work, relaxing and winding down from life

Take care Jason

I can't wait till we are beyond the frost danger and I can get some plants in the ground!

So how did that garden make out last year? Any plans of making it bigger this year? I think I am in for moving mine this year....we are not real keen on the location we picked a couple years ago. I think the tiller is going to get a work out in the next month!

Those are good gardens. I love growing them. I have 5 so far this year, but the weather has been too wet to do anymore tilling or planting. I'll wait. My gardens is a place to turn off the world, and I love to landscape my yard.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
