Default 125 Weight Bar/Aux. Battery Holder

I needed a weight bar and a holder for an auxiliary battery to operate a winch for a future idea/project. I came up with this, which will also use an adjustable ball hitch for towing log skidder, log splitter, log lifter, small trailer, etc..

Look at the first pic and just behind the battery you can see 2 3/8" bolts through the frame above the axle. There's another bolt above you can"t see between the 2 . Thanks for the compliments guys.

Looks good and innovative too.

I never seen a 12v battery quite like that one before. Must be for use in battery banks or commercial UPS, etc. ?

It's a deep cycle 120 amp reserve capacity battery 575 cca. Can use it to power winches or hook up a 2000 watt inverter to get 120volt ac power out in the wild or emergency power in case of a power outage. I have plans on putting an alternator hookup to charge it. Alternator will hook to the pto so it will be able to be removed as necessary (as soon as I get time to figure it out and install it . Thanks everybody for the compliments.

A couple pics of adjustable hitch.

Nice work.

I noticed that there is no bracing to keep it from flexing side-to-side. When you are pulling something and turning it looks like it could flex and possibly damage the battery. Maybe not an issue but I'd hate for you to crack the battery case and get acid on your nice paint.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
