I stuck a 3 jaw puller on it just for kicks and I could see that it wouldn't play. I may try heat. Lew P found one on Flea bay for around $65.00 with the gasket. At that kind of price it's not worth the aggravation at least to me to re-build it. I think with the cast impeller your write up makes sense. My guess is Bota made it so that it's not re-buildable with the impeller on this thing. I'll see if it will come apart with some heat from the fire wrench later and get back to you guys.

the cheapest I found was a kubota "equipment" dealer, not a tractor dealer.

Picked up the new pump today as soon as we get a reasonably warm day I put it on. Supposed to be cold for a couple days and I can think of better things to do when its cold than a water pump for a Cub.
