Default Picture of the Week: April 12, 2015

This weeks submission is sent to us by local member Jorge aka Jwalking from Eastern Connecticut. Daven comments "Time to spread the manure again. Here’s Sulley and I getting the wife’s garden ready in the spring of 2014. Picked up a yard of manure with the 'O'. Help spread it with the 1872 and mixed it in with the 71. I can’t think of a better way to spend the day then with my buddy and cubs playing in the dirt." Thanks for the submission Jorge!!!

Cool cubs!!! A loader, an O with fenders and ags all the way around, and a 71 with a tiller....not to mention a faithful dalmation!! What number is that dalmation, if there are 101 of them? Congratulations on having your cubs featured after a fun day playing in the dirt.

Congrats on POTW. Seeing that tiller one the O now it makes sense why the cover is such a big deal. I would have wear marks on my backside at the end of the day. On my 782 it is no where near that close to the seat. Awesome pics!!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
