Default Sears Cat 0 plow

Picked this up off of CL today. The owner had 2 nice FF tractors, a FF20 and a big hammer FF24 with an Onan 24 HP in it. WOW, those things are huge. The plow looks like it was hardly used and the other FF plow I have works great so I couldn't pass this one up. You just never see cat 0 stuff for sale anymore.

Looks cool, nice find! Is there any benefit to having a 3 point plow as opposed to using a sleeve hitch plow with the cat 0 adapter? Just curious as I currently have the Cat 0 adapter and use a sleeve hitch plow, but I'm wanting a 3 point plow instead.

Nice find Todd So I got to wondering if it's just a brinly with a different attachment frame and I started looking and found this picture that looks like a modified brinly BB-1010, so do you know if sears modified them or did brinly build them to sears specs?

Ben, I'm not sure. I picked this Brinly box blade up on the back of the trailer at one of Vince's pd's and it has the same tube frame.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
