GT2544 transmission seal??
I got a call from my grandma last night saying that my GT2544 has been leaking a lot of transmission fluid. I took it up to her house last year because I feel much safer with her using it rather than that POS husky she had from Lowe's....
Anyway... I haven't actually looked at it yet, she's about an hour away but she said that she could pour about a quart of Hy-Tran in and within mowing part of the yard (maybe 3/4 acre) you couldn't see any fluid on the dipstick and looks like whatever is left leaks out in a matter of time. Has anyone else had any issues with any seals or anything to look for before I head up that way? I'm wondering maybe if she has hit a stick or something has hit the tranny filter? It only has about 350 hours on it....

I looked at the parts breakdowns for it. Looks like the filter and suction line could be vulnerable to damage. Other than that maybe an axle seal or worst case it did what some of the other new stuff seem to be doing and lost a bolt in the diff and cracked the case. Looks like you will be taking a ride to check it out. Hope it's not a big deal Buddy.

I'll have to check that suction line out... There is definitely a lot of stuff for her to run over...
