Default Part Number for Mule Drive Pulley

Good evening, everyone-

Sorry to be asking such a newbie question but I need to know the part number for the mule drive pulleys on a CC125.

Can anyone give me a hand in finding these? Also, any photos of how they're supposed to look when properly installed...mine are beyond rusted and the PO seemed to engineer this installation himself.

Thanks in advance!

CR

i have a 125, if you stand in front and are looking down at the quick hitch/muledrive, the belt comes down off the motor pto around the two pullys to the deck or other attachment the pully on the left is attached to spring and acts as a tensioner as you raise or lower the deck and the one on the right is attached to a long bolt that comes out the front of the mule drive, this is where you tighen up the belt and the spring on the other side has some give to the belt.

Mule Drive Idler Pulleys are part no: IH-493164-R91. This number is the original number and may have been updated to a newer number.

Default Thanks All!

Thanks for the warm greetings and for the information. I appreciate both.

I'll be bidding on the mule drive for sure...the cheapest pulleys I could find were $86.00!!!

This is my first Cub but won't be my last. I'm having a blast tinkering with this thing. After I get the mule drive fixed, I need to replace the thrust button, weat out button and throw out levers....they are a bit worn out. I'm sure I'll have more questions.

Thanks again!!!

I'm needing the same thing for my 128. Here is what I found at the link listed below the pic. $17 + $10 shipping. I would go ahead and get two of them and change them both out at same time.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
