2182 Kubota engine
Lately I have been having trouble keeping my 2182 running. It will start with the choke out but the quit after a few seconds. The rpms won't come up when I throttle up it just quits. I had the carb rebuilt with the rebuild kit offered by cub which isn't much. I can hear the fuel pump working. Any help would be appreciated

Just because you hear the pump running doesn't mean it's actually delivering fuel to the carb. The carb has a drain at the bottom of the float bowl. open it and see if your getting fuel with the key in the run position. Probably time to do some fuel system maintenance. Clean the fuel shut off valves, new fuel lines, new filter. Carb could be partially plugged up.
