Afternoon all. New here but far from new to Cubs. Question for the masses. I just purchased a 106 and 124 basket cases. To my surprise the 106 has a creeper in it. Appears the handle is on upside down and the vent tube was plugged with a pipe plug. Does anybody have any literature on the creeper. An exploded view would help. I am glad the PO did not realize the 106 had a creeper or I probably paid more than $80 for the pair. Thanks in advance Kelly

Cortland is a beautiful area, I spend quite a bit of time around Ithaca. Sounds like you have quite the collection, post some pics if you get a chance, I'm sure everyone would love to see some of them.

Diz the 106 is a donor tractor as the PO cut up some of the frame and steering tower. Going to cut the front of the frame off the 106 and graft it onto the front of the 123 I am getting ready to build. Be nice to have a 123 with a quick attach set up on it. The 124 will be a future build as it is missing the rear end and has a 7hp in it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
