Default My 1772 made it in Red Power Magazine

hey guys, just wanted to share that me and my 1772 got an article in this months Red Power Magazine. i met Todd Markle at the Red Power Showdown last year in Bloomsburg, PA. We got to talking for awhile, took some pictures and told me i'll be hearing from him. He ended up calling me a few months ago and told me he wanted to put my 1772 in an article on compact tractors. I just got the magazine yesterday and i was very impressed with the article and the 6 pictures I got in it. The article is about compact tractors, there history and how there is no longer a "super garden tractor" size machine, new available anymore. For those of you that get Red Power Magazine check it out, pages 13-20. For those that don't get it... its time to.

Congrates on making Red power Magazine.
The show in Bloomsburg, Pa. was not the Red Power Round Up. The show was called Red Power Showdown.

Red Power Round Up was held in Sedalia, Missouri last year.

Congratulations!!! I hope it was a centerfold layout of your beauty!!! Maybe there will be a renewed interests in compact tractors and marketing trends will reflect their usefulness.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
