I took a set of rears into a guy years ago and asked him to be careful as he could, please. Went to pick them up and had to repaint one whole side. Gouged all to heck

Got back to putting parts on today. I know the "correct" police will be all over the lock washers, but as the thread title says, "O face lift" no restoration
Had to put washers on or the paint was tearing, and we don't want that. Flattened them out in the vice and installed. I was good on the back cover though, no troubles there...

Looking good Todd, I put all my tractors together with lock and flat washers to protect the paint as well.

That is looking might yeller! Im liking it a lot. The rims and tires are going to add that finished restoration look too. I think we now have to call it a restoration!
