Default Brinly-Hardy planter

I have a one row Brinly-Hardy planter. Where can I get different seed plates? It has one with it. I think its for corn, due to the large seed slots

Does your planter take the seed plates with the large or small center hole?

I've never messed with a brinly planter, but that doesn't look like a planter plate. Maybe I'm wrong.

I just sold my planter that had 5 plates and they had the small hole like yours, from what I could find out the real early brinlys had the small holes. Here's a pic of the plates.

I don't know where you can get new ones with the small hole. I have a Brinly/Cole planter (the later version) with the large hole. I have found a supplier for new plates for it. Watch E-Bay. It's part of the fun of playing with old machines. You have to hunt for parts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
