Yours looks a LOT nicer than mine. I robbed parts from 2 others to make mine as solid as possible. All 3 came from a loggers estate sale. I think I fixed up the newest one and it has to be 35-40 years old. The oldest was a red and white, none of the 3 are exactly alike. I used it for years and finally the crank seal went. Thought it was the carb, rebuilt it and chased to problem to crank seal. Lots of sawdust got past it so I ordered aftermarket rebuild kit for it. Back in business! I will say a service manual really helped with the overhaul! I think the only screws left were the bar studs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
