Default A New Blade For The Super

I got out before the storm they are saying is gonna make it nasty here in Pa. Picked up this Haban blade for the Super,it is the manual one but was a good price and shows almost no wear. The temps are supposed to go up some after the storm so I will have a chance to clean it up.I took a few pics as it made the trip from truck to shop still wearing a ton of barn dirt on it . I will have to dig up a set of the rear mounting plates for it as this tractor never had any Haban attachments before.

If you put a set of Xtreme SGT rear end braces on your tractor they have the Haban rear mount for the blade built into it.

Hello all, I've picked up a similar looking blade for my 2182 up near Tionesta, PA, it's a Haban 193-401, but the shaft on the front mounting frame won't go all the way into the quick hitch, it seems to be hitting the front axle bolt. The axle bolt on mine has the threads and nut pointing to the front of tractor is that the way it's supposed to go? Looks like if I turned that bolt around the front mounting frame may fully engage. Any harm in turning that front axle bolt around? Sorry I'm new to this, is this sabotaging someone else's post?

Someone put the axle bolt in back wards on your tractor. Nut should be on the back of the axle.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
